Teaching
2016 – present: I have lectured on Anaerobic Digestion Microbiology to Third Year Undergraduate Engineering students (60 students). Contributed to an industry-led design postgraduate course for Masters’ students in engineering (< 10 students) and invited to lecture on Sustainability and Resource Recovery to Third Year Undergraduate Engineering students (60 students) since 2019.
2014 – 2015: I led First Year Microbiology tutorials (200 students per session) and Third Year Marine Microbial Ecology lab practical lessons to undergraduate students at NUIG.
2009 – 2015: Demonstrator for First Year Microbiology lab practical lessons and Third Year Marine Microbial Ecology lab practical lessons to undergraduate students at NUIG. I also gave tutorial lessons to pupils enrolled with the disability office.
2010 – 2012: Lab and project supervision of a pair of final year undergraduate Microbiology students over 10 weeks from 2010-2012.
